The curriculum for Business and Supply Chain Analytics comprises courses in Technology, Management, and Business Analysis, serving as fundamental pillars to establish a robust foundation in science and technology.
OPTION I: BUSINESS ANALYTICS (BA)
Business Analytics (BA) is a dynamic and in-demand field that combines technical skills, business acumen, and critical thinking. It is the study of using data and statistical methods to inform and support decision-making in an organization. A BA option typically covers a wide range of topics, including data collection and cleaning, statistical analysis, data visualization, predictive modeling, and machine learning.
OPTION II: SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYTICS (SA)
Supply Chain Analytics (SA) refers to the use of various data analysis tools and techniques to gain insights, optimize processes, and make informed decisions within the supply chain. The supply chain encompasses all the stages involved in bringing a product from its raw material stage to the hands of the end consumer. Supply chain analytics utilizes data from various sources within this complex supply chain system to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. In addition, by leveraging supply chain analytics, organizations can make more informed decisions, streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance the overall effectiveness of their supply chain processes.
OPTION III: ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT (EM)
Engineering Management (EM) is a multidisciplinary field that combines principles of engineering, business, and management to lead and oversee engineering projects and teams. The EM option is designed to equip students with an optimal blend of technical, business, and management skills necessary for leadership roles in service and manufacturing organizations. This field bridges the gap between technical expertise and business acumen, requiring individuals to possess a combination of engineering knowledge and managerial skills.
