Bachelor of Engineering Program in Electrical Engineering (International Program)

The field of electrical engineering covers a broad range of topics, offering graduates a wide variety of career choices. To prepare students for careers in this fast-moving and competitive industry, the curriculum is structured to provide a strong foundation across several major areas.

Compulsory courses offer a comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering principles, illustrated through real-world applications. These include multiple laboratory courses—focused on electric circuits, digital circuits, electronics, control systems, and microprocessors—as well as a project design course based on the CDIO (Conceiving, Designing, Implementing, and Operating) model.

By the end of the first semester of their third year, students will choose to specialize in either communication engineering or power engineering, subject to sufficient student demand. Elective courses allow them to deepen their expertise within their chosen option, explore topics from the other option, or branch into other fields.

In their final year, students can follow one of three tracks: an academic exchange program abroad, extended training with leading local companies, or a senior project under the guidance of SIIT faculty. The latter two tracks emphasize project-based learning, requiring students to apply and integrate the knowledge gained throughout the program.
